Hanalei Colony Resort is located on the North Shore of Kauai, 5 miles north west of Hanalei. The closest airport is Lihue, 40 miles from the resort.

Driving Directions

1. Follow the airport exit signs (Ahukini Road, Hwy 570).
2. When exiting the airport, you'll come to a stoplight — the junction of Ahukini and Kuhio Hwy (Hwy 56).
3. Make a right turn onto Hwy 56 and stay on this road until you arrive at the entrance to Hanalei Colony Resort.
4. The resort is located five miles past Hanalei and the seven famed bridges.
5. Look for our sign shortly after the double one-lane bridges.

The drive will take approximately one hour, depending on traffic conditions. This truly is a beautiful scenic drive and worth every minute!
